Healthylife Campaign

Branding and Illustration

Project Summary

Client: EAB

Timeline: 3 Weeks

My Role: Brand Designer

Project Type: Event Branding

Background: Every year EAB hosts an employee-focused event that showcases the benefits offered to teams and their families. In this brand refresh, my creative strategy was to create a persona for each of the expo’s experiences and offerings (i.e. financial, fitness, mental balance, etc). I created a diverse pool of characters to represent and celebrate the amazing community and individuals they work with day-to-day.

My Process

Concept Pitch

When it comes to branding the first thing I give my attention to is the concept pitch. I presented three ideas for the branding strategy and offer a brief explanation of how the style can be incorporated throughout the event. Below is an example from my pitch on the direction the team chose to move towards.

Ideate and Design

Once the direction was chosen I went through a couple of rounds of sketches and then created a few mid-fidelity digital versions to share with stakeholders. Throughout this stage, I share openly with my team for feedback and improvement.

Iterate and Refine

After a direction is chosen I created all of the different sized digital and print assets needed for promotion.
